Make a difference in your community while gaining valuable volunteering experience. It is suitable if you are thinking about volunteering, already volunteer, or want to develop confidence and employability skills through community involvement.
Prosp Is This Right For Me
You’ll learn about the role of volunteers, expectations in a volunteering setting, communication, teamwork, reliability, boundaries and how volunteering can support confidence, community involvement and employability.
Prosp What Will I Learn
You will learn face-to-face with support from your tutor through demonstrations, practical activities, discussions and individual or group tasks. Activities may include workplace scenarios, practical written tasks, digital activities and opportunities to reflect on your own goals. As this is a qualification course, you may also complete assessments, portfolio work or assignments as part of your learning.
Prosp How Will I Learn
You will work towards the recognised qualification: C&G Level 1 Ext Award Employability. Your tutor will explain the assessment requirements and support you to build the evidence needed during the course.
Prosp Qualification
You may progress to further business, administration or employability courses, volunteering, apprenticeships, or employment opportunities where these skills are useful.

Please bring a notebook, pen and a folder for your course materials. Your tutor will advise you if any additional resources or access to a digital device are required.
