This course is for people preparing for the Life in the UK Test who want help understanding UK history, culture, and society. It is especially useful for ESOL learners who want to improve their English while discussing test topics.

You will learn key topics from the Life in the UK handbook, including UK history, government and laws, culture and traditions, everyday life, rights and responsibilities, and how to prepare for the test.

You will learn through interactive activities such as discussions, group work, quizzes, and practice questions, with guidance from your tutor. The sessions are supportive and designed to build confidence, but learners will also need to complete independent revision outside of class to succeed.

You will not gain a formal qualification however; you may request a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor.
