You’ll learn about the health and social care sector, including values and behaviours, communication, safeguarding, equality and diversity, person-centred support and the knowledge needed for further study or employment.
Prosp What Will I Learn
You will learn in evening sessions with support from your tutor through demonstrations, practical activities, discussions and individual or group tasks. Activities may include tutor input, case studies, discussion of real care scenarios and written or practical tasks. As this is a qualification course, you may also complete assessments, portfolio work or assignments as part of your learning.

You will work towards the recognised qualification: Diploma in Health and Social Care. Your tutor will explain the assessment requirements and support you to build the evidence needed during the course.

You may progress to further health and social care qualifications, volunteering, apprenticeships, or entry-level roles in care and support settings where entry requirements are met.
