Build confidence in everyday IT skills and learn how to use computers for work, study, and life. It is a supportive, non-qualification course for adults who want to build confidence and take the next step in digital skills.
Prosp Is This Right For Me
You’ll learn everyday IT skills such as using a computer confidently, managing documents and folders, browsing the internet, using email and completing simple digital tasks for work, study and daily life.
Prosp What Will I Learn
You will learn face-to-face with support from your tutor through demonstrations, practical activities, discussions and individual or group tasks. You will use computers and digital tools during class, with guidance to help you practise skills and apply them to realistic tasks. The course is designed to build confidence at a steady pace, with support to practise between sessions where appropriate.

You will not gain a formal qualification, but you can receive a certificate of attendance from your tutor.
Prosp Qualification
You may progress to another digital skills course, a qualification route, employability course, or use your new confidence to support work, study and everyday life.
Prosp Next Steps
Please bring a notebook and pen. If you have your own digital device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop, your tutor may ask you to bring it where it supports the learning; computers will be available in class where required.
