Prosp Is This Right For Me
You’ll develop practical digital skills using computers and common software. Depending on the course level, this may include creating and editing documents, working with files, using spreadsheets, communicating online, solving basic technical problems and staying safe when using digital tools.
Prosp What Will I Learn
You will learn in evening sessions with support from your tutor through demonstrations, practical activities, discussions and individual or group tasks. You will use computers and digital tools during class, with guidance to help you practise skills and apply them to realistic tasks. As this is a qualification course, you may also complete assessments, portfolio work or assignments as part of your learning.
Prosp How Will I Learn
You will work towards the recognised qualification: Gateway Level 2 Diploma in Digital and IT Skills. Your tutor will explain the assessment requirements and support you to build the evidence needed during the course.
Prosp Qualification
You may progress to further digital or IT qualifications, employment-focused training, apprenticeships, volunteering, or roles where confident IT skills are needed.
Prosp Next Steps
Please bring a notebook and pen. If you have your own digital device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop, your tutor may ask you to bring it where it supports the learning; computers will be available in class where required.
