This course is designed for learners who already have good general IT skills and wish to develop their understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace. It is aimed at those who use computers confidently but have limited prior knowledge of AI. The course will focus on practical, work-related uses of AI rather than technical programming or development.

An introduction to Artificial Intelligence and how it is used in the workplace. The benefits and limitations of AI, including ethical considerations and data protection. An overview of different AI tools and their practical uses for tasks such as writing, planning, research and organisation. How to use AI tools effectively, responsibly and safely to support productivity at work. By the end of the course, learners will be able to: Understand the benefits and risks of using AI in the workplace. Understand different AI tools and how they can be used at work. Use AI tools effectively and responsibly to support workplace tasks.

You will learn through practical, hands-on activities, tutor demonstrations, guided tasks and group discussion. The course will focus on real workplace scenarios, allowing learners to explore how AI can support everyday work tasks.
