Thursdays, 6-7.30pm. An 8-week course to explore how we might include spiritual health as a step to well-being - discussions may include brief references to religion but do not endorse any specific religious concepts or activities.
The aim of this course is to explore spiritual health as a step to well-being. You do not need to be ‘religious’ to attend this course. This course is aimed at people This course is for those intrigued about spirituality and would like to maintain and sustain their health and well-being. It is not a therapy session, is not suitable for those experiencing a mental health crisis and not intended to replace any medical advice or healthcare services. If you have a trauma-related diagnosis, or a severe and enduring mental health consideration, you may wish to discuss this with your doctor, case worker, community mental health team, or the course tutor before enrolling. All attendees are asked to take personal responsibility for their own learning and well-being, to collaborate in a way that ensures a safe learning environment for the whole group and only take part in activities which feel right for them. No guarantee of any specific results is given or implied.
Prosp Is This Right For Me
By the end of the course, learners will be able to: explore the neuroscience of spirituality, discuss terms like ‘soul’ and ‘synchronicity’, consider the importance of ‘shadow work’, ‘the inner child’ and lucid dreaming, list a number of ‘soul intentions’. The content of this course may be adapted as scientific research, theories or course requirements change. All content material is protected by copyright and owned by the content author.
Prosp What Will I Learn
Sessions introduce a mixture of theory and practical exercises. There may be written activities as well as the potential for learning through listening, reading, watching videos, asking questions and contributing to group discussion, as well as (where relevant) mindfulness and guided meditation. Book, app and video recommendations may also be offered during the course, which are optional to consider; always check suitability before you invest. Learners are empowered and encouraged to participate where they feel comfortable, as appropriate, in a way that benefits their health and well-being.

This course does not offer a qualification. You may ask for a Certificate of Attendance, if you have been able to demonstrate evidence of your learning and met the course requirements.

Prosp Next Steps
Key messages are included in the handout(s), where provided, but you may choose to bring a notepad and pen with you to each class in case you wish to make notes. Learners may also be given access to reading materials and resources relevant to the course via “Google Classroom” so, where possible, you will need a device with internet
access; this could be a PC, Mac, Laptop, smart/iPhone, tablet/iPad. You may also choose to bring a soft drink with you in a safe container. No smoking or vaping is allowed during classes or in any of our venues.
