Open What will I learn?

This foundational course introduces essential digital tools and skills for the modern workplace. You'll explore digital marketing basics, how to use ICT confidently at work, and understand e-safety principles to protect yourself online. You’ll also gain hands-on experience using word processing and spreadsheet software, learning how to create documents, input and organize data, and use technology to boost your productivity.

Open How will I learn?

You will study face-face with a tutor, using both laptops supplied by CLMK in class and with the use of your own personal digital devices. Access to the internet will be required, as portfolio course work will be set by tutors through our online platform. The use of a personal smart phone, tablet or laptop/computer is essential.

You will gain a recognised certificate from “Gateway Qualifications”.

We have a range of progression opportunities to further develop your digital skills such as Progress with Office: MS Excel and Word or Level 2 Award in Digital Skills for Work.
