Chair yoga involves modified yoga poses so they can be done seated with the support of a chair. Suitable for everyone, very beneficial if you wish to do some gentle exercise or if you have suffered from a long term condition that effects your mobility. Chair yoga has many benefits, improves strength & flexibility, and helps posture and balance. The sessions include breathing & relaxing visual meditation to calm mind. Please note: If you have a disability and /or learning difficulty (for example a hearing or sight impairment) please let CLMK and/or your tutor know as we may be able to offer you extra support or provide different learning materials. This class involves periods of meditation with eyes closed so it is particularly important that your tutor is aware if you have a hearing impairment.
