Over the 10 weeks of the course, you will learn: greetings and farewells in formal and informal situations; introducing yourself and others in formal and informal situations; asking questions in class; asking for and giving personal information; the Spanish Alphabet and sounds; the days of the week, months, seasons, numbers; talking about clothes and colours; talking about the weather; talking about likes and dislikes; family members. By the end of the 10 weeks, you will have consolidated the following grammar concepts: nouns gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular and plural); infinitive verbs (ar, er, ir); present tense verbs ser, llamarse, vivir, tener, llevar, gustar; definite articles: el, los, la, las; indefinite articles: un, unos, una, unas; personal pronouns; possessive adjectives; indirect object pronouns.
