For those who have completed Japanese Beginners and/or those with some knowledge who wish to develop further, Tuesdays 6.45-8.15pm

Open Is this course right for me?

This ten-week course is suitable for beginners who have already learned how to read Hiragana and Basic Japanese phrases – greetings, introductions, “What is this?” and “I like…”

Open What will I learn?

You will learn: How to describe things using adjectives. Wh-words (who, where, when, which, and how). How to describe location (in, at, on, in front of, behind, next, etc). How to make and use Masu form and Dictionary form. How to describe days of the week, date, and time. How to ask about others’ schedules and arrange meetings. Basic kanji related to each topic.

You will learn during weekly lessons, independent learning activities, and via short videos. Writing and reading tasks will be emailed or uploaded to Google Classroom after the lessons as complementary work for you to do at home.

You won’t gain a qualification from this course, but you can request a certificate of attendance from your tutor.
