Develop confidence in numbers, Tuesdays 10.30am-12.30pm

Open Is this course right for me?

From telling the time, reading timetables, planning a journey, learning to use a calculator, to basic numeracy skills. Apply Maths to your daily lives such as understanding household bills, retail discounts, graphs and bar charts.  This course will help prepare you for a Level 1 Maths qualification, or take this course alongside your Level 1 for additional support and practice.

Numeracy skills to equip you through life. Tips for studying. How to study for Maths – breaking through Maths anxiety. Tips to help you make speedier Maths solutions to Maths questions and problems. A taster of the Level 2 Maths curriculum to prepare you for future study if you choose to do that.

Tuition that will include group and individual discussions and activities and independent learning. You will build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding.
