Are you looking for a new and relaxing hand stitching craft? Kanzashi flowers are a Japanese art form of fabric origami. Easy to construct, with potential to make more complex designs, this course is ideal for all ability levels.

The history of this Japanese folk craft. Suitable materials and embellishing techniques. A step-by-step guide to fabric folding and cutting to make the petals for construction. Ideas for uses of your finished flowers.

In a small group we will look at examples and experiment with patterns before working on your own choice of designs. Step by step demonstrations and guidance will be provided from your tutor.

You will not gain a qualification but you may request a Certificate of Attendance and Achievement from your tutor.
