Course Overview
For those who have completed beginners level and wish to develop their skills further, Wednesdays 9.30am-12pm
This course is for those moving on from Beginners, wishing to develop further skills. It will enable you to develop your individual potential, both technically and creatively using a variety of watercolour painting and drawing techniques. You will be introduced to new themes and approaches.
Prosp Is This Right For Me
New watercolour techniques and how to use other mediums with watercolour, Seasonal themes and painting from life, How to get to grips with both traditional and experimental watercolour approaches, Explore another watercolour artist’s techniques and themed approach.
Prosp What Will I Learn
Primarily through practical painting and drawing activities, for example wet on wet, glazes, resist and creating your own mixed colours, Regular instruction and demonstrations of approaches and techniques, Individual one to one guidance, Regular group discussions and some group painting exercises.
Prosp How Will I Learn
You will not gain a formal qualification but you may request a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor, to be given out at the end of the course.

There will be a follow-on course next term that you may wish to enrol on.
Prosp Next Steps
Watercolour paints, paint palette, water containers, watercolour brushes, A4/3 300gm watercolour pad, masking tape, kitchen roll, a pencil and drawing paper rubber and pencil sharpener, plus a white candle or white wax crayon if you have one. The theme will provided by tutor.
