This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge to support you in getting started with self-employment. You will learn skills to aid the start-up and managing of your own business, along with developing further understanding of the skills and behaviours to be successful. As part of the first session, we ask learners to complete a short English and basic numeracy assessment, as you will be building a portfolio over the 10 weeks and will need good understanding to complete the written work. You will be supported throughout the course by your tutor and other learners.
