Learn Mindfulness techniques to help you relax
Relaxation through Mindfulness is about using mindfulness as a technique to help you relax and manage your mental health. Prosp Is This Right For Me
Attending the Mindfulness course can help: reduce blood pressure and improve sleep, manage stress and anxiety and help maintain good mental health, identify a suitable relaxation technique that works for you, explore what stops you relaxing and build a personal plan to build relaxation in to a busy life, create a space for relaxation at home. The course will be a mixture of theory and practical exercises looking at mindfulness and demonstrating techniques, with opportunities to practice and discuss its effectiveness. There will be occasional written activities during the five week course and the use of other types of media, e.g. a video to watch and music for relaxation. Prosp How Will I Learn
You will not gain a formal qualification but you may request a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor, to be given out at the end of the course. Prosp Qualification

You will need a device with internet access, this could be a PC, Mac, Laptop, smart/iPhone, tablet/iPad. You may wish to download the Zoom app prior to starting the course. A pen and notepad would also be useful. We will send you joining instructions after you enrol. Please note: If you have a disability and /or learning difficulty (for example a hearing or sight impairment) please let CLMK and/or your tutor know as we may be able to offer you extra support or provide different learning materials. This class involves periods of meditation with eyes closed so it is particularly important that your tutor is aware if you have a hearing impairment. Prosp Please Bring
