Recognising, understanding and working with anger
This course is delivered online using Zoom and our virtual learning environment – Moodle. It is for anyone who wants to discover healthier ways to process feelings of anger. You will have the opportunity to talk and share your experiences with others in the class who may be in a similar situation. This course is for people with mild to moderate mental health considerations including stress, anxiety and depression. If you have been given a trauma-related diagnosis (such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), suffer from asthma or cardiovascular disease, or have a different mental health diagnosis, please speak to your doctor before joining this course or speak to the tutor before registering. It explores what anger really is and considers ways to channel difficult emotions helpfully. During these sessions, we will explore different types of anger, what causes it, and use tools like mindfulness to manage challenging moments. Prosp What Will I Learn
The course will look at some theory behind anger management and include group discussion. There will be some writing activities and helpful handouts will be given out during the course. A relevant video may also be played. Prosp How Will I Learn
You will not gain a formal qualification; however, you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. Prosp Qualification

You will need a device with internet access, this could be a PC, Mac, Laptop, smart/iPhone, tablet/iPad. You may wish to download the Zoom app prior to starting the course. You will be given access to our Moodle platform where you may access the courses resources such as handouts, images, recordings of videos and/or audio etc. We will send you joining instructions after you enrol. You may wish to use a pen and notebook, although handouts and other resources will be available. If you have a disability and /or learning difficulty (for example a hearing or sight impairment) please let CLMK and/or your tutor know as we may be able to offer you extra support or provide different learning materials.
