Learn effective sleep strategies and how to understand your dreams
In this short course, you will explore the benefits of sleep and evidenced-based theories behind what helps (and what doesn’t). Please note: This class involves periods of meditation with eyes closed so it is particularly important that your tutor is aware if you have a hearing impairment. *Important: This course is for people with mild to moderate mental health considerations including stress, anxiety and depression. If you have been given a trauma-related diagnosis (such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) or a different mental health diagnosis, please speak to your doctor before joining this course or speak to the tutor before registering. You will learn a tried-and-tested technique which has been proven to help people sleep better, along with top tips to take away. You will also explore theories behind dreams and nightmares, with opportunities to interpret them. Prosp What Will I Learn
The course will be taught online, offering a mixture of theory and practical exercises to try at home. These will look at sleep, the subject of mindfulness along with opportunities to practice. There is the option for written activities (e.g. through the chat facility on Zoom), and access to other types of media, e.g. videos to watch or books to read. Prosp How Will I Learn
You will not gain a formal qualification but you may request a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor, to be given out at the end of the course. Prosp Qualification

You will need a device with internet access, this could be a PC, Mac, Laptop, smart/iPhone, tablet/iPad. You may wish to download the Zoom app prior to starting the course. A pen and notepad would also be useful. We will send you joining instructions after you enrol. Prosp Please Bring
